Anyone remember that old MLP fanfic, The Dread Chitin? It was released on Equestria Daily nearly a year ago, and got positive reviews but was pretty much forgotten after that. I happen to be a pretty big fan of it, so much of a fan, in fact, that I decided to spend a crap ton of time drawing some epic-as-I-can-possibly-make-it fanart.

I can't believe how much time I spent on this (around three days, give or take), and I can hardly believe I was able to finish it (since that's something I almost never do), but I guess I was.

I really like how this turned out; it's much better than my previous dabbles into digital drawing media (most likely because I actually tried my hardest with this one). I think I drew the monsters slightly wrong, but by the time I figured that out, I was already halfway done, so they're gonna stay that way.
